Making Time for God

What do you have time for today, work, school, or even church activities?  Have you spent time in prayer before the Father, and immersed in His Word?  In Ephesians 4:20, Paul is speaking to the believers about their former ways when he says that they, “…did not come to know Christ that way.”

We have to do more than KNOW about Him.  We have to LEARN Him.  When we learn Him, we desire to know Him more.  We want to serve Him and live our lives for His glory and His glory alone!

And, when we live for His glory, we seek to live out His Word.  We long to follow His ways.  As Psalm 67:2 reminds us we need to ask for God to bless us so that, “…your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations."  What are you living for?  Are you living to take His name to the nations?  What are you doing today to make sure His glory is revealed around the globe?

I encourage all of you to look at your lives and see what you truly have time for today.  May it be for His glory and His name’s sake alone!
